Things I'd like: John/Rodney. If you're good at it: humor. If you're not confident in your funny bone: light romance -- or Gen! Gen is always good. I'm hungry for stories set in the first or second season, before John (apparently) ran out of hair gel.

They didn't know what would be on the other side of the gate, hadn't made the serious blunders in the Pegasus galaxy that turned everyone against the team. They assumed that anyone who wasn't Wraith would be on the same side. And the different survival strategies worlds had to deal with the Wraith -- hide, brazen it out, high-tech weapons, collaboration -- so interesting! (Hmm, I'd love a story that includes a low-tech approach. Why didn't people in Pegasus put their gates in a cave where a Wraith dart would smack into a wall?)

Or how about an old fashioned plotty ZPM hunt? Maybe a crumbling ancient weapon? Or, for a season two fic, how about a heavy dosage of Lorne being Lorne, knowing more than he wants to know? And while I don't miss Ford (sorry Ford!), I do miss the English guy, whatwashisname?

There's an innocence to that first year, where every discovery was a major discovery (yay, spaceships!) and Rodney was at his most enthusiastically rude.

I guess I'm asking for plot, but in truth, I don't care if the whole fic's about John and Rodney skipping rocks off the pier, so long as it brings back that old-time SGA feeling.

Things I wouldn't like: Any pairing but John/Rodney. What I call "slash world," where every other male character is also gay and paired up. Lots of NC-17 sex: just not in the mood for it this year. In addition, it's Christmas, so while sweet to bittersweet is okay, I'd prefer nothing dark. I miss the show, so I'm hoping for canon-ish slash over an AU.

What I can do: I'm really in a "recapture the feel of early SGA" mode, so if someone else wants this, that's your best shot at a good story from me. This year I'm only interested in writing either gen, John/Rodney, or I might do John/Lorne. I can do humor, light romance, alien cultures, awkward technology, fic set in the Pegasus Galaxy, curtain fic. I can pull off AUs but would prefer Pegasus galaxy fic. Oh! And I write SG-1 too, so if someone wants SGA/SG-1, that's no problem.

What I can't do: Het of any kind. That Doctor Whatshername. Pairings involving Teyla or Ronon. Threesomes and foursomes. Not in a mood to write NC-17 right now, so any assigned to me would suck. And I'm in a deep state of denial about Atlantis being moved to Earth.

Things I'd like: This year the thing I'd LOVE most of all the things ever is kinda strange lol. The characters as anthropomorphized animals. Yes. Like, you know, kinda like Furries, only... more like all those fantasy books where there are no humans. Or like Furries, let's face it I love furries. AU or on Atlantis, whichever.

McShep, McBeck, Beckett/Zelenka, Lorne/Zelenka, Lorne/Parrish, Sheppard/McKay/Beckett, take your pick, use them all, whatevs I'm easy :D

Slash only, please, no Keller, and Ronon being Ronon makes me happy.

If my number one thing I want isn't working for you, I'd really like maybe an LGBT story? FtM characters are a big big love of mine, as are coming out of the closet (adult or late high school/college), DADT repeal, broken gaydar, and awkward fumblings lol.

I'm good with lots of other stuff too- AUs, lycanthropy, vampirism (NOT sparkly vampires thanks lol), steampunk, PWP, romance, crack, time travel, body switching (no genderswap though), angst, pining/oblivious, kinky sex...

NC-17 please :) Feel free to mix and match any of this stuff too.

Things I wouldn't like: Het, gen, femslash, Keller, noncon, death, male characters lactating (...idk why this would come up, but, better safe), men acting like 14 year old girls (except in the case of crack because that's hysterical)

What I can do: Slash only, any combination of Sheppard, McKay, Beckett, Zelenka, Lorne, and Parrish. G-NC17. AUs, canon, some crack (I wrote about beets once, okay? Man, IDEK), first times, PWP, kink (most of them lol), preternatural characters...

What I can't do: gen (it always ends up slashy), het (it always ends up slashy), femslash (it always ends up unfinished), I have no Keller voice, I can't write missions.

Things I'd like I am a HUGE hurt/comfort junkie! And I really like the hurting guy to be Evan Lorne. Just whump the crap out of him, I'm happy. :) He can be comforted by a whole lot of people, slash or het, it's all good. I'm a particular fan of rare pairings too, so if you want to put him with Jennifer Keller or Jonas Quinn, it would totally make my season!
Things I wouldn't like Having said that however, I really don't want Lorne/Zelinka or Lorne/Becket. Both Carson and Radek are great characters, just not paired with my guy. I'm not a huge fan of Porne, either, unless Parrish is a total BAMF.
Things I'll write I can and will write pretty much anything and I'm pretty hard to squick. I love to write H/c, and all of my stories have that in them. I love first-time fic too and I totally love to write rare pairings. However I just can't write Zelinka or Becket in a romantic relationship. I just don't feel it.
Things I won't write. Zelinka and/or Becket paired with anyone. Non-con, unless it's implied in the background as part of the H/c. Gen because romance always apears in my stories. Always.

Things I'd like: Lorne/Parrish, or if you can't do that Lorne Gen. did I mention Lorne in my stocking? I have a secret yearning for wing!fic. Minor Character are WIN, particularly Parrish, Zelenka, Miko, Cadman, Mehra, Teldy, Porter, Markham, Stackhouse etc. for Lorne/Parrish I really like to see a competant!Parrish, even one that goes all out to get his major, I would really love a His Dark Materials fusion (where they all have Deamons) or a Sentinel fusion (Sentinel/Guide Pairings) featuring minor characters - these fusions have been done to death with the main team. of course my prefered sentinel pairing is Lorne/Parrish. Generally domestic fic or angsty h/c ae my favourite tropes.
Things I wouldn't like: MCShep, Non-Con, apocolypse fic, MPreg or baby!fic. extreme kinks - skat, watersports, medical kink and bloodplay are all no-no's
What I can do: I prefer to write minor characters and Lorne/anyone NOT KAVANAUGH

Things I'd like: At my core, I'm a slash guy. I love McShep and Porne (Parrish/Lorne) both, because there's so much that can be done with both. And I love AUs as well. And while yes, there've been a ton of McShep AUs, there're actually very few Porne AUs. I'm a sucker for kid!fic (where the boys adopt/etc a kid or two), though I'm iffy about MPREG (I like some, I don't like others). And anything schmoopy would be awesome; I love first-time and romance.
Things I wouldn't like: Stories where McShep or Porne aren't the main coupling. I also don't like death!fic or BDSM, and as I said, probably not MPREG.
What I can do: 95% of what I write is slash, and generally "happy" fic with lots of humor. I love writing McShep or Porne myself, and will occasionally (I'm looking at you,

clwilson2006!) write Porndex (Parrish/Lorne/Dex threesome fic), though Parrish & Lorne is just about the only coupling I can throw Dex into (though I can try - just not with McKay or Sheppard!). I can write other slash pairings sometimes, when properly motivated (mostly Chuck/OMC).
What I can't do: I can't write dark!fic unless I'm really, really in the mood for it, and won't write death!fic or BDSM. I really can't write Keller.

Things I'd like: I would love to have Lorne in an established poly/threesome relationship with Chuck, and the following characters - Sheppard, Radek, Parrish or Carson (author's choice) but if you feel you can't write a poly/threesome fic, that's fine, I am quite more than happy to read any Lorne/Chuck, or Lorne/Parrish or Lorne/Sheppard. I would love this to be set in a universe where DADT has never existed at all (so won't mind some background pairings too!). I would love for Atlantis to be in a superpower universe, where everyone on the base has some kind of a superpower. Perhaps Lorne could be the only one who doesn't have a superpower and finds it difficult to fit in but his partner(s) helps him get through it. Anything else is fine with me - BDSM, kink, romance, Christmas!fic, as long as it has a happy ending! Anything from PG to NC-17 and above! I hope I am not too specific but really, I would be happy with anything as long as it has Lorne and Chuck in it! :-)

Things I'd like: Anything that focuses on John. I like John with virtually any male pairing, although my favorites are John/Rodney, John/Cam, and John/Lorne. John/Ronon and John/crossover also work :) I love angst, so long as John gets his happy ending, but I especially love when it's internalized angst that he just deals with matter-of-factly. I also love anything that deals with how John might still feel about losing his men in Afghanistan. Also loved: bamf!John kicking major ass, people underestimating John and having him surprise them, John breaking out his mensa math skills. I'd love to see a crossover with Inception, somehow. And last but not least, I'm definitely open to AU's. I absolutely love BDSM-verse fics, but I also adore regular Joe-type fics where John and love interest have occupations like bookstore owner, professor, researcher, CEO, what have you.
Things I wouldn't like: I'm not really a fan of John het. I also really dislike woobie!John or John too out of character. Also, I'm of the belief that there is no way John has gone this far in life and not realized he's gay or at least bi, so no first-time John or Rodney-turns-him-gay, please; I love when they can still be stoic men, but obviously feel strong affection for one another. Anything too far out of the realm of believability for these guys or where I have to suspend my disbelief?
What I can do: I generally do much better writing slash, and focusing on John, Lorne, or Cam. I wouldn't mind trying my hat at Ronon, although I don't think I could do Rodney's POV justice, honestly. I can write angst, romance, humor, or action. AU, crossover, slice-of-life, I'm fairly open.
What I can't do: I'm fairly certain I'd be horrible at het smut, but I do love me some slash smut. I'm not a huge fan of Jennifer so I don't think I could write a fic where she's the primarily character. Apocalypse-type fics aren't really my forte either.

Things I'd like: I want a somewhat plotty fic that also has McShep. And Lorne and/or Zelenka (paired with each other or other people or nobody) being awesome. Or Chuck. Or, really, people being awesome. Or, y'know, whatever. I'm easy. If you're stuck, you can write me a cracky McShep in which they are marshmallows. (seriously, if it doesn't exist yet, it's exactly the kind of fluff that needs to exist.)
Or if you don't like any of those ideas, I like nonbinary characters, I like sexual-minorities, I like Rodney saving the day in unexpected ways and/or accidentally, and I love sub!John like there is no tomorrow. (Especially when combined with any or all of the other things in this list. I think really I just like everything. You'll be fine.)

Things I wouldn't like: There is nothing I won't read. And there's also nothing I can't be sold on. If you write it well enough, I'll believe it could happen, even if before I was like "psh, no way."
That said, I don't love character-bashing. I don't like Kavanaugh, but he's not evil incarnate. (Unless you make him be that. But you have to make someone clearly evil in the story before you can just treat them like they're evil.)

What I can do: In theory, I can do anything! I have before. But If you're looking for gender variance, I'm your pip. If you're looking for odd kinks, I'm your pip. If you're just looking for someone to throw words at a page and hope for the best, I'm definitely your pip.

What I can't do: Femslash is difficult for me to write, even when not terribly explicit. (Okay, any female-centric piece is hard.) I can do a good background female character, but they fall apart under close scrutiny. Most of the time. Sometimes I get lucky!

Things I'd like: PLOT. Slash: John/Lorne OR John/Rodney, Het: background only, Gen: John Sheppard OR Lorne OR Rodney McKay. I love character studies, little insights into the hows and whys and lately I have been fixating on the three mentioned characters. Maybe something dark or disturbing, or even just slice of life kind of things. Atlantis cut off from Earth (by choice), Atlantis returning to Pegasus (against orders), AUs that aren't too AU that you wouldn't recognize Atlantis for what it is. If you are inclined to write ship - then how that relationship works with their work schedules, living in a fish bowl community, how it was affected by the repeal of don't-ask-don't-tell (or not as the case may be). Broken relationships that they work to make happen, or simply fall apart around them. I am pretty easy going and would love just about anything. Any rating (though I would probably prefer PG13 and up)

Things I wouldn't like: Any pairings except the above mentioned (or Het that isn't in the background). On screen torture/rape/dub-con. Extreme kinks, BDMS (or its variations), gender-swaps, mpreg, characters acting stupid or brainless without reason, AMTDI, major character death... Pointless/Plotless sex. Crossovers (that aren't already established in Canon). No fluff/shmoop/whatever word you want to use for it... these are men, let them act as men and not hormonal teenaged girls gushing over crushes (unless the character is acting this way to be sarcastic or annoying - but not for long, please, I can't stand fluffy stories)

What I can do: John/Lorne, Rodney/John, John Sheppard, Rodney McKay, Lorne. Character studies... Pretty much anything that I have listed in what I'd like, I can write. Happy endings, unhappy endings, any rating, slice of life, post season 5...
What I can't do: Anything listed in "Things I wouldn't like". Het pairings that take center stage would be the only addition.

Things I'd like: McKay/Sheppard tops the list! Above all else, that's what I'd genuinely adore. Beyond that, I’m a total sucker for first time fic. It’s not necessary by any means though, as I do enjoy pretty much any an all John/Rodney interaction (including AUs). Besides that, I enjoy either or both of the guys being Pining/Oblivious, and I adore it when everyone else has a clue long before they do and scheme to get them together. I love stories that include Jeannie (would get a kick out of seeing her on Atlantis again) & also love to have the team involved, and I’m fond of pretty much most other characters (Teyla, Ronon, Lorne, Carson & Zelenka in particular).

I’m also totally fine with most other secondary pairings (Lorne/Zelenka has recently piqued my interest). I wouldn’t object to team OT4 as long as John & Rodney are most focused on each other. I’m okay with mentions of McKay/Keller, so long as it’s in a past tense (or ends up being past tense). Feel free to rough them up, and toss in angst, but please make sure everyone is happy & healthy at the end. Fluff, hurt/comfort, action/adventure, romance, it's all good. Post Season 5 – w/ Atlantis back in Pegasus would be welcome (but again, not necessary). Any rating will be fine, but I would definitely not complain about hot sex! (Particular kink for either of the boys pushing the other face first against the wall, down on a bed, etc... w/dirty talk, touching, sexing, from behind).

Things I wouldn't like: Please no character bashing, deathfic, partner betrayal, noncon, permanent injury, hardcore BDSM, extreme kink, humiliation or permanent genderswap. Prefer no Mpreg (although kidfic via wacky ancient device type of scenario would be okay) apocafic, vampire AU, everyone’s gay scenarios, slavefic or wing!fic.

What I can do: Most comfortable with John/Rodney (and pretty much anything in my ‘Things I’d Like’ list), but I’d be okay with plotty team fic – OT4 or gen – canon relationships (except involving McKay or Sheppard), Lorne/Zelenka, or possibly Lorne/Teyla. Note that even if I were writing a different pairing - I'm still likely to include background McShep references. I like plotty, action stories, but I’m also okay with porn.

What I can't do: John or Rodney with anyone but each other. Most of the stuff on my ‘Things I wouldn’t like’ list. Really dark fic. Really explicit bdsm or heavy kink. Crossovers are probably iffy and would depend heavily on the other fandom, unless I know the other source fairly well.

What I can do: I'm mostly writing slash like John/Ronon or Lorne/Parrish but I can do het involving Teyla. My specialty are minor and reoccuring characters like Lorne, Parrish, Stackhouse, Ladon, Heightmeyer, Vega etc. Also rareparirings of all colours: you like Halling/Kavanagh or Lorne/Ladon or John/Radek? What I would like: I am a HUGE Lorne fan, so a story with him as the main character would totally float my Christmas boat. I really would like an angsty H/c first-time fic, and I love tropes like amnesiatic slave fic (if you're looking for a prompt) but it's not required if you have a plot bunnie for another angsty, H/c, first time fic instead.

My favourite Lorne is the uber-responsible parental type who will do anything for his family - real, adopted, or Atlantian. I love both het and slash stories with Lorne, and my OTPs are Lorne/Emmagan, Lorne/Keller, or Lorne/Heightmeyer or Lorne/Mitchell or Lorne/Campbell. However, I am open to Lorne/McKay and Lorne/any other guy (like Sheppard, Parrish or even Kavanaugh) as long as it makes sense.

AUs and SG1 x-overs are awesome. (I think Lorne/Quinn would be very cool).

I really like my male characters to sound like men -- no matter whom they love. (No chanelling 14-yr-old girls please!)

What I wouldn't like: Lorne slashed with Beckett or Zelenka. They are great characters, but I just don't feel for the pairing. I do not like dub or non-con or PWP or really heavy-duty sex-scenes (you know, the ones that go on and on and on...) Because I'm hoping for a first time fic, I can't imaging Lorne and his girl or boyfriend pulling out the whips and chains either...

I don't like it when the hurt part of the H/c involves injury or illness that isn't medically accurate. It doesn't have to be super-detailed, just make physical sense. I've read too many fics where the person's 'high' fever is barely above normal body temperature, for example. And please don't make the injury/illness permanent.

I hate first or second-person POV fics. Just saying.

What I can write: Just about anything, including rare pairings and femslash as long as it includes a romantic relationship. Naturally I write a good Lorne, but I can write most of the other characters too. I'm pretty open :). I'm great with the whump and H/c too, and I'll always give you a happy ending.

What I can't write: Gen! People always fall in love in my fics. I can't pair Beckett up with anyone, and Zelenka can only date Weir, so I can't really slash him either. I'd rather not do a kink fic because I prefer plot over porn. I don't watch tv so there are very few x-overs I can do, but Torchwood and SG1 are definitely two of them. I might be able to fake Hawaii 5-O and Sanctuary. I don't think I can write bug!John either.

Things I'd like: any combination of Sheppard/Dex/Beckett/Zelenka/McKay/Lorne/Mitchell EXCEPT John/Rodney or Lorne/Mitchell on their own. If Teyla (or the team in general) makes an appearance (in a friendship role) that would be awesome too.

I prefer character/relationship driven stories as opposed to action drive (not to say it can't be there, just not the main focus. I like relationships that don’t following the normal pattern (ex. fuck buddies to friends to something more), relationships that aren’t perfect but work, poly relationships, exploration of sexuality (pansexuality, romantic asexuality, etc.), people that aren't strictly tops/bottoms during sex (a preference for one of the other is fine, but not a refusal to do the opposite role if the other person desires it), kink* mentoring/acceptance, h/c (I love the hurting… emotional, mental, physical… impotence, disabilities, gender issues, sexuality, age difference... it’s all good, and I particularly love the comforting. I don't have a problem with dark themes. Rape/torture is fine as long as there is plenty of recovery afterward.), aliens being aliens (culture, biology, psychology)... mostly applies to Ronon but could do something with the Ancients.

Also pre-season 3 or ambiguous timeframe is preferred. I LOVE bug!John or other transformations. I wouldn't mind a crossover with SG-1 (Jack/Daniel?) or any other series I'm familiar with (see profile). PWP is cool but I prefer some plot in there.

Things I wouldn't like: gen, het (unless it's background), John/Rodney or Lorne/Mitchell on their own (I'm fine with them being in a threesome/moresome with others), stupid!Ronon (he survived seven years on the run from the Wraith afterall!), love at first sight, infidelity, magic penis makes everyone’s problems go away, genderbending, seme/uke trope, scat, vomit, underage, graphic mpreg, necrophilia, vore, daddy!kink (or any ageplay), crack, fluffy humor, total AUs, character bashing, massive ooc-ness without explanation

Things I'd like: Ronon/Carson or Lorne/Zelenka, maybe with some McShep in the background. I like the themes of loyalty and protectiveness. For Ronon and Carson I'd like something more intense, maybe dramatic, maybe dealing with Carson's death and clon!Carson's appearance. Preferably R to NC-17, but not PWP. For Lorne/Zelenka I'd prefer something lighter, more romantic, PG to NC-17.
For any of the pairings I want definite plot. Missions, city crises, anything to show that the outside world actually exists, and the characters interact with it. If the plot was woven into canon it would be absolutely wonderful (for example, Ronon and Carson's relationship starting after Sateda). Also I'd like it to be a first time.
Things I wouldn't like: PWP, AU and alternative realities (including Vegas-verse), crossovers (except SG-1), character deaths (except minor characters, OCs and, of course, canon deaths), bad endings, too much sap and/or fluff, overly dark, non-con, heavy BDSM, the characters behaving like teen girls, factual mistakes (like Radek speaking "Czechoslovakian"). And no het, please. The most I can tolerate is mentions of Kaleb/Jeannie and Kanaan/Teyla.
What I can do: Any slash or femslash combinations of Sheppard, McKay, Ronon, Carson, Lorne, Zelenka, Ford, Todd, Teyla, Weir, Carter, Cadman, Keller, Heightmeyer, and any 'guest-appearances' of SG-1. I don't mind gen, too.
UPD: Erm, it is too late to add that I would be happy to try some rare femslash? ^^"
What I can't do: Het. Also PWP, overly dark fics (not that I really mind dark, I'm just horrible at it), AU and crossovers (except SG-1). Also I'm not a native English speaker, so I might not know a lot of slang and pop culture.

Things I'd like: McKay/Sheppard tops the list! Above all else, that's what I'd genuinely adore. Beyond that, I’m a total sucker for first time fic. It’s not necessary by any means though, as I do enjoy pretty much any an all John/Rodney interaction (including AUs). Besides that, I enjoy either or both of the guys being Pining/Oblivious, and I adore it when everyone else has a clue long before they do. I love stories that include Jeannie (would get a kick out of seeing her on Atlantis again) & also love to have the team involved, and I’m fond of pretty much most other characters (Teyla, Ronon, Lorne, Carson & Zelenka in particular). I’m also totally fine with most other secondary pairings (Lorne/Zelenka has recently piqued my interest). I wouldn’t object to team OT4 as long as John & Rodney are most focused on each other. I’m okay with mentions of McKay/Keller, so long as it’s in a past tense (or ends up being past tense). Feel free to rough them up, and toss in angst, but please make sure everyone is happy & healthy at the end. Fluff, hurt/comfort, action/adventure, romance, it's all good. Post Season 5 – w/ Atlantis back in Pegasus would be welcome (but again, not necessary). Any rating will be fine, but I would definitely not complain about hot sex! (Particular kink for either of the boys pushing the other face first against the wall, down on a bed, etc... w/dirty talk, touching, sexing, from behind).

Things I wouldn't like: Please no character bashing, deathfic, partner betrayal, noncon, permanent injury, hardcore BDSM, extreme kink, humiliation or permanent genderswap. Prefer no Mpreg (although kidfic via wacky ancient device type of scenario would be okay) apocafic, vampire AU, everyone’s gay scenarios, slavefic or wing!fic.

What I can do: Most comfortable with John/Rodney (and pretty much anything in my ‘Things I’d Like’ list), but I’d be okay with plotty team fic – OT4 or gen – canon relationships (except involving McKay or Sheppard), Lorne/Zelenka, or Lorne/Teyla. I like plotty, action stories, but I’m also okay with porn.

What I can't do: John or Rodney with anyone but each other. Most of the stuff on my ‘Things I wouldn’t like’ list. Really dark fic. Really explicit bdsm or heavy kink. Crossovers are probably iffy (shamefully, I’m only up to Season 2 of SG1) unless I know the other source fairly well.

Things I'd like: John Sheppard, please. I love Team fics (gen or OT4). If there are going to be hookups, I prefer McShep or McShepDex. Oh, and I'd totally be down with a Teyla/Lorne fic, with Sheppard worked in too. Threesome? If you insist. Protective friend? That sounds good too.

I love snapshot stories, where you feel like you’re watching as the scene unfolds, and it could be from a major climactic point or a missing scene or a tiny throwaway moment that gets expanded. I have a huge soft spot for pre-canon stories. I like sexy angst and hot brooding with blurry lines between passion and obsession. I also really like light-hearted, humorous, 'let's go on an adventure!' stories. I like plottiness (or, conversely, PWP), sarcasm, dry wit, and snark. I like happy endings that admit that happy endings aren’t the norm, or open-ended endings, or endings that bring everything full circle and make you say, Huh! Ohhhh.

Bulletproof kinks include college AU, hooker!John, intense UST, voyeurism, spanking, and suspense.

Things I wouldn't like: Songfic, schmoop, kidfic, mpreg, character bashing, genderswitch. For a holiday fic, I'd rather not read anything really sad, or deathfic, or unrequited wangst. Not a fan of whump, either. Pairings I wouldn't like include Carson/anyone, Jennifer/John, and Lorne/Parrish.

What I can do: I'll write gen, het, slash, kink, crack, with ratings from PG to X, and pretty much any character who appears in more than a handful of eps. I'm open to characters and pairings, although I'd prefer to write main characters, because I haven't written a lot in the fandom and rely heavily on canon as my go-to source for characterization.

What I can't do: Ginormous, intricate plots. Songfic, schmoop, kidfic, mpreg. I've never seen SG-1 or SGU.
