Stories due today!

I'm sure the reminder won't be necessary but you do need to get your story into us today unless you've already negotiated an extension. At the moment we have more extensions than stories but I'm sure that I'm panicking unnecessarily and the rest will land in my inbox imminently!

However, that being said, if you are going to be a little late you need to let us know that now so that we don't end up pursuing you for it tonight with a maniacal gleam in our eyes.

I'm almost certain that my story'll be in today - but there is a chance that it might be a tiny bit late. Like an extra day? Of course, I will do my very best to not have it late!

My story is with my beta-reader... and, judging by the time, it looks as if it's not coming back today, at least not in time for me go go through it again. I've broken my leg and am on pain medication so I won't be awake for much longer tonight.

I don't know if you've thought of this or not, but I've been in exchanges where they put up a post so people who are going to be away from the internet during the posting period can comment so that their authors don't freak out and think their recipient hated the story. Any chance of doing something like that for this fest? If you like, I'd be happy to put the post up so you wouldn't have to bother with it.

Okay, I feel completely sucky and I'm so sorry for this, but could I get a 24 hour extension and send mine to you on the 11th? I'm down to the last two hundred words or so and thought caffeine would cut it but my cold's being a bitch and demanding I get some actual sleep. But I promise I can have it in tomorrow if that'd be okay? And again, I'm really, really sorry about the delay.

Feel free to kick me in the pants as necessary for leaving things to the last minute ~again~ and thinking these were due in on the 15th, wtf.

Oh crap, I just logged online and saw this. I thought the deadline was the 15th for some reason, so my story isn't finished yet. Is there anyway that I can turn it in on Saturday? I'll be able to get it done, just not in the two hours that's left until Friday starts. I'm really sorry!
