Things I'd like: John/Rodney, with a side-order of team, Jeannie, and/or Radek (I love Radek like burning.) Angst is welcome but something with a happy ending, please. Smut is great but not necessary; plot would be lovely. In general, I like Sam and Todd. I like when Rodney and Radek are awesome BFFs. I like affectionate moments of team-bonding, or the team kicking ass and saving each other, or the team bringing up Torren. I love sci fi tropes, especially time-travel or characters meeting different versions of themselves, but I also like a whole gamut of canon AUs, Atlantis cut-off from Earth, John and Rodney at the Millers, something set in the Vegas universe, sentient Atlantis, or anything set in Season Four. I like backstory and childhood stories, particularly for Rodney. I like pining and affection, and themes of family and home, and when the characters are shown to be brilliant at their jobs, devoted to one another, and having fun with both. I'd love anything that explores Pegasus culture further, particularly Ronon or Teyla's histories.

Things I wouldn't like: Anything that generally requires a warning (deathfic, graphic torture, non-con, dub-con, mpreg); character-bashing; use of epitaphs; OT4; endings in which John and Rodney are paired with anyone but each other; John Sheppard as straight; BDSM; major kinks; complete AUs; anything set post-Season Five.

What I can do: John/Rodney; team (but not OT4); plot; first-time; established-relationship; domesticity; whump; hurt/comfort; Jeannie as a major character; Radek as a major character; Pegasus; earthside; canon AUs; any rating; any season. I can write anything from the Things I Like section.

What I can't do: Anything that generally requires a warning (deathfic, graphic torture, non-con, dub-con, mpreg); character-bashing; Elizabeth as a major character; OT4; endings in which John and Rodney are paired with anyone but each other; John Sheppard as straight; BDSM; major kinks; PWP; anything that relies heavily on SG-1 characters and canon (besides Sam).

Things I’d like: McKay/Sheppard or gen/teamfic (canon relationships allowed as background) – can be action/adventure/plot based or more relationship based – I love when the team kicks ass and takes names – I love when the team is team – I love the snark with its underlying affection – I love first times but I also love an established relationship, especially when John and Rodney are easy and natural, just comfortable together because they know they are BFFs and love each other like mad – AUs are awesome (see caveat below), hurt/comfort is love, angst makes the world go ‘round, a balance of serious and humor (as on the show) is great – I love when Atlantis is a bit more than they’ve shown us on the series, ie, John’s connection and special “relationship” with her or something focusing on cool Ancient tech – I love cut off from Earth scenarios (but not so much colony!Atlantis) – I enjoy a good Harlequin-style romp with misunderstandings and dramatic declarations – “a day in the life” or a day when the rest of the expedition gets to save the day is greatness – I love episode-related pieces and focusing on the details – my John is a well-respected, competent officer and does more than push paperwork off on Lorne and get chased by natives off-world (though he does those things, too) – my Rodney is respected despite his, shall we say, special personality and isn’t tolerated by the expedition solely because he can (and does) save them all – my Teyla is such the mom of the group, strong and graceful and kick-ass – and my Ronon is more than a savage who tears through the Marines in practice – my expedition, as a whole, feels that Atlantis is home and are fiercely loyal to their commanders and each other – they are smart and dedicated and family in all the ways that matter – I’ll take any commander (ie, a story set in any season, with Weir, Carter, or Woolsey at the helm…or the time post-Weir when Sheppard called the shots) – something more military focused (that shows how smart and awesome the Atlantis forces are) is great, too, and I love Lorne – happy ending strongly preferred – So many words just to say that basically, I’m easy. :) Pick something and run with it, and I can pretty much guarantee I’ll love it (and you!).

 

Things I wouldn’t like: partner betrayal/infidelity, permanent heartbreak, kink, Sheppard with anyone but McKay, death of a major character (serious injuries okay), AUs based on either McKay and Mrs. Miller or Vegas (not that I don’t like them! just not in the mood), mpreg, non-consensual sex, Beckett as a major character, colony!Atlantis, apocafic, any mention whatsoever of SGU

 

What I can do: McKay/Sheppard, gen/teamfic/friendship, character study/focus on one of the characters, canon relationships (ie, Teyla/Kanaan, Jeannie/Kaleb, McKay/Keller – but not happily ever after for those two), minor characters (not shipped); action/adventure, AU, angst, romance, hurt/comfort, first time, established relationship, crossover (if I know it!), rated G to NC-17, fluff, deathfic, light kink (not much past mild D/s), ep-related, detail oriented, backstory, futurefic, off-world or in Atlantis

 

What I can’t do: Sheppard with anyone but McKay (except past John/Nancy), heavy kink, partner betrayal (unless with a reason that lets it end happily), I can do some humor but not in the “spit-take” “cracktastic” sense, no physics/math as critical to the storyline (my technobabble is weak)

Things I Like: McKay/Sheppard, in combination (or not, if you want to write something else) with any of the following: the culture and community of Atlantis; lesbians and bisexuality, because it seems the gay guys get all the fun; Teyla and Ronon being awesome; Teyla/Ronon friendship; humor; not-humor; future!fics; Torren; Jeannie and the Millers; introducing the Irijjin* to those wacky Earth customs; AUs of all kinds, though I would love if someone did a Discworld one; crossovers. Basically, most anything goes.

Things I Don't Like: Keller-bashing; non- or dubcon; crack; songfics; whump or hurt/comfort, except if it's like aspirin or something; magical healing cocks; kink; unecessary fluff or angst; infidelity; mpreg; Sam-bashing; Elizabeth-bashing; Jeannie-bashing; Ronon/John; Lorne/John; Teyla cast as a Pocahontas or Ronon portrayed as dumb or a savage, or for that matter, a dumb savage.

What I Can Do: I'll write pretty much anything, but I do have a special soft spot for McKay/Sheppard. & I can write femslash, and Elizabeth and Teyla, and I'll certainly try Ronon.

What I Can't Do: All the squicks above (the "Things I Don't Like" section); smut, or anything NC-17; pure fluff; complex plot; heavy kink; whump; SG-1 crossovers.

Things I'd like: I mostly love John/Rodney stories, established relationship or first time, pining John or Rodney, and jealousy fics are more awesome than anything, but not opposed to gen/friendship either. Episode tags/missing scenes, or post/pre-series fics are fine too. Keller/Rodney fics are fine at the beginning, but it'd need to end up John/Rodney. I also love Teyla/Ronon, Ronon/Keller, Ronon/Amelia, Lorne/Parrish, Elizabeth/Caldwell and would enjoy reading anything involving them (they can be the main pairing in the story or not, don't care). I love basically everything but dark fics. Angsty is fine. Happy ending stories are even better. I also have a particular like for earth-side stories, AUs, mpreg, domestic stories, adventure stories, hurt/comfort, stories where Teyla and Ronon know John and Rodney are in love with each other before they do, or any type of matchmaker stories between any of the couples listed here, sentient!Atlantis, and DADT based fics. 

Things I wouldn't like: I don't like crossovers that much, dark fics, non-con, dubcon, beastility, three-some/moresomes, D/s, other kinky stuff (I'm really vanilla- though light bondage doesn't bother me), partner betrayal, character bashing, OT4, Wraith or Genii fic, and genderbending.

What I can do: I can do het (only Teyla/Ronon) or slash (John/Rodney), fluffy/schmoopy happy romantic fics, crack, character studies of major characters, mpreg, and hurt/comfort.

What I can't do: I can't write NC-17 stuff, including kinks, gen, any other pairings beside my main OTPs, including threesomes/moresomes, minor characters, dark/torture fics, deathfic, long, plot-filled fics involving scientifc things like the show includes, SG-1 crossovers (never watched it), or really any crossovers, military fics, and/or any fics involving the Wraith, Genii, or minor characters.
