Things I'd like: Whirled peas, a million bucks, a pony, and a really fun slash story about John and Rodney. Humor is best, though I'll take angst and H/C as long as there's at least a semi-happy ending to it. John/Rodney is my favorite pairing, though I don't mind other pairings in the background or even in the foreground. Please, no character bashing! I don't mind explicit sex, but I'd much rather have it built around a plotty story, either focusing on them or on them on a mission. Established relationship is fine. Team!Fic is a bonus! AU is fine too, though please make me believe it. I don't mind kink as long as it's not central to the story, but I'm not really fond of really heavy kink (like D/s or whipping or Rodney shaving John's head).
Things I wouldn't like: Excessive H/C. Excessive angst. Too much focus on somebody other than John or Rodney. Really heavy and story-centric kink. Character bashing.
What I can do: Write a slash story about John and Rodney, and probably about Rodney with Ronon, though I've never tried it. I can write a slash story where the slash is in the background and the plot is in the foreground (i.e. no explicit sex), but anything I write will have John/Rodney in it, it's just how I write in the fandom. If you'd like a deathfic, I could probably do that too. I'm not great at kink!fic. I could even write satire.
What I can't do: Write John in a het relationship or Rodney in a het relationship, except as an aside or in their backgrounds. Be nasty to Jennifer, to Elizabeth, or especially to Teyla or Sam (unless it's satire). Write Rodney as a whiny baby or John as fool for love (or at least admitting it).
