Things I'd like: Slash! Fav pairings are McShep, but there's enough of that around as it is, so Sheppard/Zelenka is my next favorite, and any other combo of Sheppard, McKay, Beckett, and Zelenka is great with me. For some reason my only exceptions to graphic sex being slash are threesomes involving Cadman or Miko as a third party. Weird. Threesomes and moresomes are ok if handled respectfully. Het is ok, but in the background please. I have a great love of Lorne but not as a part of the main pairing. Same goes for Woolsey. I love Jeannie getting involved somehow, and for some reason I like her paired with Carson. I LOVE a good AU, but it doesn't have to be for me to love it. Fluff is awesome as long as it's not overly sappy, but so is angst, as long as there is some happy ending. I love first times, crack, and coming out stories. Mpreg's cool, too, as long as its explained somehow. And stories that mess with cliches are really fun.
Things I wouldn't like: I'm good with any rating and any kink that doesn't involve BDSM, D/s, or non-con. (ex. Rimming, felching, and fisting are great, calling someone master is not.) Incest, death!fic, dark!fic, child abuse, serious slavery (as in not in a cracky sense). I also don't really read crossovers unless it makes sense. Don't just throw your favorite characters together and hope for plot.
What I can do: I'm best with romances, kinda fluffy with some well placed angst just to make the end sweeter. I've also been told I'm good at humor. I'll write any of the above pairings but am most experienced with McShep. I'm ok with any rating and the same rules go for kinks as stated above. Crossovers I'm willing to try (in general because I don't know about specific spoilery things on some of these): Eureka, House, NCIS, Bones, Leverage, Criminal Minds, Fringe, Doctor Who/Torchwood, Star Trek, Chuck, Friends, MASH, Big Bang Theory, Warehouse 13, Psych, Monk. If you need someone who does know specifics just ask, I'm caught up on about half. Oh, and SG-1, of course, though I'm only well versed through season 6.
What I can't do: Het porn. As a background pairing, great, as the main event, no. Gen. I always see people together so I can never get them to stay apart in my fics. kid!fic. I don't really like kids and have no idea how to write them. Incest. Non-con/dub-con. Child abuse. Extreme angst/dark!fic/death!fic. Pretty much everything from the above 'wouldn't like'. I tend to be too literal for wild crack, and fast paced action/adventure is hard for me so epic battles probably aren't the best thing for me to be stuck with. I'm also a very plot driven writer so PWP never turns out quite right for me, although if it fits the plot I'm ok.
