Hey, you can ramble like this any time; your comment made my day.:) I have to confess, and this may not come as a surprise to people who read my stuff, that I too seem to be drawn to a messed up John. I didn't intend him to be quite as messed up as he is, but it turned out he had more history than I initially realized.

I really wanted to create that feeling, that Teyla and Ronon were there for him, like Team; I'm thrilled that came through.:)

You're right -- his connection with Rodney was so fast and so intense, it was too much for John to handle -- and actually, I think Rodney was in a little over his head, too. I was so glad John pulled it together to try again.

Ah! What a wonderful thing to say about how you felt at the end; that made my heart soar.:) I'm thrilled the fic worked for you.
