Thank you kindly. Yes, I think John could be very possessive should he ever be in a serious relationship with someone. And his actions were meant to let Ronon know without challenging him in an outright way that Rodney was his. I don't think either Ronon nor Sheppard are the kind of men who talk overly much about their feelings and therefore needed something to give the story closure without downplaying Ronon's feelings for Rodney. After what we saw of him in recent episodes I think it fits him very well, accepting what can't be changed. And he is the kind of man to value friendship and honor highly therefore he wouldn't want to lose Rodney and/or John as friends and vice versa.
