Excellent fic. The glimpses of what Rodney and Ronon shared were hot and I liked Ronon's pov of said relationship and his perceptions of Earth's strange regulations, his friends' feelings for each other and his feelings of loss when first they had to leave Atlantis and then he realised what he'd let go with his negligence. I'm glad he wasn't so upset that he would risk losing his friendship with John and Rodney.
As for John, loved his alpha-male possessiveness. Very very hot, but the love shone through too. I could really see him doing something like that, knowing that Ronon would need to *see* it, that words alone wouldn't be enough to completely enure that there would be no attempt to move in on Rodney. Having said that though, although he was very calculating, I don't feel he was doing it to be cruel to Ronon, more to ensure harmony, to make sure Ronon stayed and they didn't lose their friend and to make sure they both knew the boundaries of that friendship. Nicely done.
