Oh, this is just so lovely! I love your dragons, the different types and personalities, all the little details in the worldbuilding! I would happily read a million more words of this - even just the adventures of John and Rodney on a boring escort mission! I'd love to know more about the Aerie and the magic, John's family, how Rodney fits into all this, how they met... there's so much goodness packed into this story - I love it!
