Wow, thank you for this wonderful fic. It's like you read my mind, or my request post!
I really love this story. I'm incredibly fond of both John and Vala, and it was great having a story that gave them a shared happy ending, both being wanted by someone who loves and respect them. It feels like my heart grew three sizes reading this. :)
The SG1 John created was awesome. and if John and Vala hadn't gone to Pegasus together (and how great was that!), I'd gladly have read story after story about the epic Milky Way adventures of Sheppard, Mal Doran, Rodriguez and Coolidge.
I feel a little bad for Cam, who just had his last established team member stolen from underneath his nose, but he'll manage. He'll get Daniel back when Atlantis leaves earth anyway.
I really liked Landry in this story too. I've always suspected that he's got a warm heart underneath his gruff exterior. ;) And you had John mending ties with Dave, which is a trope I adore.
