While I also love the 'Evan was in a coma!' part, I can't take credit for it, as that is the major plot point of the movie "Just Like Heaven" which I, um, 'borrowed' from to write this story.
However I *will* take credit for the characterizations, and I'm so glad you liked my take on Kavanagh!
