I'm gonna go for the middle ground. The kid probably would be gorgous, with their genes, how could (s)he not be? Would probably have Rodney's eyes, John's hair and hopefully wouldn't have all those medical problems Rodney does (different enviroment than Earth, John not on drugs during pregnancy ect).
But, also, the child probably would be rather a geek, I think. Might like football, or whatever sport they came up with in Atlantis, but a geek too. And very very smart, and with nervous energy.
And, in anycase, great idea. It's feasable, which is handy, and also Rodney's fear is obvious, poor bloke, and easy to feel. Were you gonna write another part, or is it a stand alone? *curious*
