Things I'd like: Team, or John & Rodney, or Rodney & Teyla friendship; gen (background canon pairings are fine, e.g. Rodney/Jennifer or Teyla/Kanaan; so are pairings with OCs - het or slash; but mostly I want to read about the Team). I love h/c, daring rescues and deadly peril, but I also love quiet friendship moments; I will be happy with anything from a jumper crash in which everyone barely makes it out alive, to an evening of the team playing board games. I am fine with permanent injury/disability as long as it's treated realistically. I like fic with good world-building and believable offworld cultures, and stories that develop Teyla and Ronon's cultures or show new facets of them. I love Torren being included in their group activities, and the boys being "uncles". I like seeing them act like a family -- there may be bickering (and banter, banter is lovely) but when it comes right down to it, they know each other through and through, and they'll always be there when the others need them.
Things I wouldn't like: Excluding teammates without a good plot-related reason (that is, even if the focus is on, say, John and Rodney, or Rodney and Teyla, I'd like an indication that the others are still important, still around). Carson inexplicably replacing Keller as the doctor in season 5+ fic (it needs a really good explanation, at least, for why he's there and she's not). AUs other than the fork-in-the-road kind. Deaths of canon characters.
What I can do: I'm best at gen, team, h/c, action/adventure, character studies and friendship. When it comes to pairings, Rodney/Jennifer and Teyla/Rodney are the pairings I've mainly written, but I will take a stab at any pairing (with the exceptions below), including 3somes/moresomes and rarepairs (het, slash or femslash), but I'm not a good author for straight-up PWP. (My pairings tend to come out kind of gen-ish.)
What I can't do: Total AUs or crossovers; pairings involving Carson, Lorne, or Wraith; Woolsey as a main character.
