First of all thank you! There is a lot I like about this. You managed to hit a lot my kinks when it comes to SGA. I love that you explore the differences between Earth culture and Pegasus culture. Love, love, love that you used Aiden. Poor Aiden rarely gets mentioned anymore.
Like the differing POVs in this and the way you handled the different cultural surprises. Loved that you tackled the icky relationship issues - i.e. Ronon & Keller and Kanaan & John.
I like all of this but the last part - Rebellion - is my favorite. I can see so much coming out of that bit. I love the suppressed emotion in this and that you used Torran as the spokesman & Dahlia Radim as well. How horrifying for Teyla to become a Wraith Queen, but I can also see her doing this if it would bring peace. And yes! I can totally see Earth trying to use Pegasus to get resources that they need. Colonialism at its worst.
I'm also really happy you let John stay in Pegasus. He needs Teyla and Atlantis in his life. I can't see him surviving if he had been forced back through. Poor Lorne, though. I also like that while Teyla is claiming John as her own and taking responsibility for his actions, he is still not trusted.
Thanks so much for the wonderful fic - it was well worth the wait. :)
