That's one of my favorite lines, too! The concept there was what made me have to write this in the first place.
One of my pet peeves in fic is when the author makes Rodney the one who wants to break up with the girl (Jennifer, Katie, etc) but has him do it by just ignoring her. It's even worse when the boys get together and never mention Rodney's girlfriend or, god forbid, blow it off by saying Rodney will break up with her later. After he's slept with John. Yeah. *angry flailing* Rodney can be an ass but he does have a heart! Anyway, sorry for the rant- I'm glad you appreciated my inclusion of a real break-up in the fic.
