Stargate Atlantis Secret Santa 2012

I've wanted to write about John's mom for a year, now. For various reasons, I never really bought into the "shrinking violet" type for her. I felt she was probably a great deal stronger than that, just based on the fact that John usually has good working relationships with women. They aren't without trouble, but then again, neither is his relationship with his mother.
