There are so many moments in this where I had to put it down for a second to make appropriately spastic flailing gestures of glee. The village axiom fits perfectly, and you spun it out and explained just -- CAPSLOCK MUST EXPRESS MY JOY. That the village isn't just the team, that the rest of the expedition is a part of it too. That team is family but more than that, the so-very-practical, heart-breaking side to life in Pegasus that Torren needs such a large family because livelihoods can be cut short. That Rodney zoned out the ceremony and had to be filled in by John -- ha! That Ronon has Rodney's back. Teyla's growing family. So many moments that I love, love, love.
