Thank you thank you thank you!! I love this so very very much. I love the idea that amongst all the military planning and the scientific exploration and the fighting the wraith, Lorne has his own cocoon of something amazing and beautiful. I like how you incorporated Sheppard into the story, allowing us to see Lorne's reaction to being discovered.

Just recently, I started painting my first Atlantis-inspired piece. I have a lot of different hobbies and I'm not the best painter in the world, but there's something wonderfully special to me about moving a paint-loaded brush across a canvas. And Atlantis... wow, it's just so beautiful, isn't it? Not only the spires and towers of the city, but the insides... the stained glass, the textures of the walls... and the beautiful people within, too (and I'm so glad you included the portraits!). So I totally understand Lorne when he says that a life time wouldn't be enough!

Thank you again - this was not only a wonderful story but a personally meaningful one as well. <3
