Stargate Atlantis Secret Santa 2012

Sheppard/Todd is such an underappreciated pairing. Love this take on it - how Sheppard is Todd's obsession, whether it's about feeding or about sex - how even though Todd has turned female, I get the sense that Sheppard still thinks of him as male and it's just that the new body/biology allows him to see what he hadn't seen between them before. It was a little disappointing that simply switching bodies made Todd aware of this sexual desire for Sheppard, as if he had switched his sexual identity instead of his body, but when he started to talk about the mating drive, it made more sense. Anyway - loved how hard Todd held out against his captors, his wry voice, the joke about feeding off someone the human race wasn't taking of, the joke about Atlantis' utter failure to do right by its gene therapies, and the proverbs.
