Things I'd like: Team. Gen. Canon or AU (slight AU or total). If canon - set in season 3-5. If AU then set in/with characters from either season 4 or 5, and contemporary please (unless you are confident you can pull off historical AU withou inaccuracies). Story set mainly on Atlantis or Earth, not off-world. Humour or crack. An unlikely to be granted request would be a Eureka crossover where the SGA and Eureka universe is the same one (making light of the shared actors). An SG-1 crossover might be fun. Animals (not dogs) would be a plus point.
Things I wouldn't like: Anything that isn't gen. Character bashing. Whumping. AU where Atlantis has cut off ties to Earth. People with ATA gene able to control Atlantis/lights, doors with their minds and Sheppard’s gene being more equal than others for day to day stuff. Language beyond what is used in the show - ie no swearing. Something with lots of Elizabeth. Magic/fantasy/wizards/vampires, ghosts etc. McKay and Sheppard declaring themselves or consciously thinking as each other as best friends (even if their behaviour indicates otherwise). Something set in season 1-2. Something that deals with the events of "Trinity". Clichés like "Harvest festival", or "team member disobeys local law with bad consequences", or "team member/s has to take part in local ritual." Death fic unless it’s an OC and not the focus of the story. Fic written in 1st or 2nd person. McKay’s allergy/hypoglycaemia being serious. Medically icky/graphic descriptions. Hints of Ronon/Keller that go beyond canon. Lots of US culture in jokes /sport references (I'm European and wouldn't understand them all)
What I can do: Gen. Canon, or AU. Team or character focused (but please not Weir). Crossover with Eureka, SG-1, West Wing, Scrubs.
What I can't do: Slash, het, whumping. Really broad "Things I'd like prompts" because I do not want the stress of last year if at all possible, thank you. See “things I wouldn’t like”, apart from the clichés – those I will do, if I can subvert them.
Pinch hitter?: At the speed I write? *bursts into laughter* That is to say "no - unless you wanted it in time for the 2009 Secret Santa".

Things I'd like: Off-world or Earth!based (especially!), please. Aliens made them do it and things of that ilk are fabulous. Dark and sad and hopeless are also great. Protective/masculine anyone (even chicks). Holidays are welcome. Sam/Keller would be SO AWESOME. Or some oldschool Teyla/Weir. Ronon/Sheppard are very yay. Established relationships are nice. Dub-con is super!fine. Fighting the elements, fighting the villagers, whatever. The team can all be there. I love Rodney and Teyla and Zelenka. And bad!sex. Gen through NC-17 all works for me. I'm being super-careful naming pairings in the hopes that I'll get them, but really, any combination of the aforementioned characters works for me, so blow my mind with McShep or Teyla/Zelenka or OT6 if the muse strikes.
Things I wouldn't like: No Unresolved Sexual Tension, it's Christmas! No pregnancy, babies, kids, magical body modification, Carson, death, or any AU.
What I can do: Anything
What I can't do: Nothing.

Things I'd like: McKay/Sheppard is my OTP, minor pairings in the background are okay. I'm like M-preg and I absolutely adore a good AU (slight or total). Canon centric fics are great as well, as are tags or missing scenes from episodes. There's a special place reserved in my heart for well done team, Zelenka, and Carson. Earth-side, off-world or exploring Atlantis would all be great! I do want a happy ending, though.
Things I wouldn't like: I'm not that big on het and I like to have my OTP together, so I'll pass on McKay/anybody but John, Sheppard/anybody but Rodney. I don't like characters being tortured just for the sake of giving them pain. I like all the boys/gals alive, so please no death fic. BDSM, kinks, non-con, and PWPs aren't really my cup of tea. I don't hate Keller, but I'd rather not have a Keller-centric fic.

What I can do: McShep only, I can write most of the characters but am not overly fond of Jennifer Keller (I can write her though, if need be), AU (slight or total), canon
What I can't do: explicit sex -> no PWPs, kink, BDSM, pointless torture, death fic, OT4, femslash, het, non-con, Keller-centric fic
