Things I'd like: I'm all about variety so I'll list out a few things I'd like just to give that to whomever picks up my name. =3

#1) Beckett/Cadman - het - I'm a total sucker for this pairing and am so bummed that I don't find a lot of it out there. I really love these two and think they are beautiful together. Carson's not exactly Casanova and Cadman isn't exactly the shy, blushing beauty, but they've come together through chance and their romance was quite lovely to imagine...since TPTB never gave us anything after the dinner from HELL in duet.

Romance, dates, alone time. I enjoy reading that. A picnic on the mainland, an off-world mission together, Laura teaching Carson to dance, Carson singing to Laura...just anything really. It can be schmoopy or bittersweet! Please, ignore Sunday. It never happened! ><;; Or if you do want to go the route of Sunday or Carson #2...well actually as long as it's Carson/Laura I'm all for it!

#2) McShep - slash - This is my #1 pairing in SGA and I love just about everything about it. However! What I'd love to see is a Doranda aftermath where Rodney has made peace with himself about what happened, offered up his apologies, and has moved on. He's repenting, in his own way, about what happened and won't continue to take the flack everyone's tossing his way. He goes about his business and ignores the cold shoulders and the glares, and even the futzed up relationship between Sheppard and himself as well as the one with Elizabeth and himself.

First time is a major plus but established relationship angst is a beautiful thing as well. So! Pretty free range!

#3) Rodeny-centric - gen or slash - Rodeny is a genius, we all know this. He's great with his hands and can move with grace when he has to. He's also not one to let things get away from him, to just ignore things he doesn't understand. Rodney is a man that works and works and WORKS at things until he's either mastered them, understands them, or knows, without a single DOUBT, that he can't do it and even then he still tries. SO! Fighting? He might not like it but he's no slouch.

Stick fighting is Teyla's thing but that doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to twirl the rods around and advance on a target. He might have had Kendo lessons?

Ronon is a big, fit man. He's got muscles and moves that almost no one can match, but Rodney's no shrinking violet himself. He's got mass and muscle underneath them clothes and concealed by a deceiving layer of padding around his middle. Them thighs are strong and his hands agile, and that brain of his never stops thinking. Advantages are easy to find, if you're looking for them.

Things I wouldn't like: I'm open for everything and willing to try anything once.

What I can do: I'm can write both slash and het, and sometimes gen but I prefer slash. I wont turn away any of them but my strong suits lie with het and slash. Pairings? I don't have restrictions.

What I can't do: I'll try anything once...or twice. =3

Things I'd like: Teamfic. If it's got the guys in it, having an adventure or just being together, I'm pretty happy. I prefer Gen but mild slash is good too. Things I love include plotty fic, crack, well-constructed OCs, whump of any kind and anything that doesn't lose its sense of humour. That's not an exhaustive or intended to be a restrictive list. Future-fics, AUs, Crossovers are all good, and I like all the characters although Carson would probably be bottom of my preference list. I don't mind death-fic or angst if it doesn't leave me too depressed. I also have a weakness for anything involving the Ancients, but as long as it has a plot and some banter, I'm happy.
[I'm not sure if that's too general to be of use but what can I say? I'm as easy as John Sheppard... ;)]
Things I wouldn't like: Pure romance. Anything too explicit. Something non-team-centric.
What I can do: Plotty Gen. Crack/humour. Character studies. Minor characters.

Things I'd like: John-and-Rodney-fall-in-love story with a lot of plot and little to no sex. I prefer AUs though I'm not married to them (though some kind of medieval AU would be awesome). As for genre, knock yourself out. I ask for is a happy ending. If you're setting the story on Atlantis, I'd also like to see the rest of the team in there. But really, I'm easy.
Things I Wouldn't Like: Crossovers/fusions with other shows, as I don't watch most of them and thus won't get the jokes. Amnesia stories are a definite no, as are public marriage proposals, non-con and mpreg. John and/or Rodney involved with anyone but Ronon or Teyla before they get together (except for the canon Rodney/Katie thing) and OT4. If you want to write humour, please don't go for prank wars or anything that's "funny" by making someone the butt of the joke. I can't laugh about either of those. And I really need me that happy ending.
What I can do: John/Rodney and gen (no, really, I can write gen). I'm better with AUs than with canon settings.
What I can't do: Porn, kink, Teyla-POV, anything with Carson/Jennifer/Jeannie playing a major role, crossovers and/or fusions (see above), OT4

Things I'd like: John/Teyla (really would like), Teyla-and-team (emphasis on Teyla), Teyla being awesome (MUST, no matter what), John/Teyla (really, really would like), something with action-adventure and drama, characters behaving like people and not like they've been taken over by the plot zombies.

If you want something more defined than my rather vague suggestions then:
- the team escape an imprisonment and have to survive. The story is about their survival before they get rescued.
- Teyla and John are in negotiations of some kind and they go wrong. Madness, insanity, hilarity, and/or chaos ensue.

Frankly, as long as it has Teyla being awesome with John and Teyla interaction (clearly shown as friends, doesn't have to be more), I'll be pretty happy.

Things I wouldn't like: character-hate (no, not even Kanaan - if you're going to write him, deal with him as a character worthy of respect), romance as the main plot (life is not about two people getting together - the getting together can happen on the way, though!), too much whumping or angst, Rodney as the saviour of the Pegasus galaxy, John as the saviour of the Pegasus galaxy, Elizabeth as the saviour of the Pegasus galaxy.
What I can do: team, Teyla, John/Teyla - any type of story (action-adventure, drama, PWP, romance, whatever), most slash pairings and ship pairings (exceptions below), although if I'm not in the mood to write the pairings, I'll do friendship quite happily.
What I can't do: Shep/McKay, Shep/Weir, Teyla/Ronon

Things I'd like: John/Rodney as the main pairing, other side pairings (even het) are fine. But don't go mixing my McShep with others. As far as content, I'm pretty easy (except for things listed below). I'm a kink-fan, so feel free to indulge in just about anything including cross-dressing, gender-bending, BDSM, spanking, mpreg. I also love vanilla, so if you don't do kink, that's okay, too. I like AUs as long as the characters are recognizable and the plot makes sense. I love the Gay Porn for Girls universe so I wouldn't mind a story in that AU.
Things I wouldn't like: Rape/non-con, excessive hurt in h/c stories, anti-BDSM, extreme BDSM (cutting, golden showers, breath-play, etc), non-canon character death, John being an idiot, Rodney being a coward, either/both being too stupid to figure things out until Teyla/Elizabeth/Ronon/Zelenka forces them to see the light, excessive DADT angst, lemon-chicken stories, partner betrayal.
What I can do: I only write John/Rodney, and I can do any level from pre-slash to graphic NC-17. I can do AUs if you have something specific in mind, and I can do kink.
What I can't do:Rape/non-con, character death, heavy angst stories, het.

Things I'd like: RADEK. Anything focusing on him would be awesome.  (I could be clearer, if desired, but I think you understand. :-D)  Whumping would be lovely.  I'm a sick woman, yes, but we hurt the ones we love.  Pairings are nice, but not necessary....  on the het side, Radek/Elizabeth, on the slash side, Radek/Rodney, Radek/Carson, or Radek/Rodney/Carson...  I'm bi-fictional, so any of those pairings will please nicely.  I'm pretty flexible and fairly easy to please.

Things I wouldn't like: Radek/Ronon, Radek/Keller (I don't think anyone writes it, but I figured I'd throw that out there), Radek/Teyla, Radek/Any Wraith.  Non-con, excessive torture for the sake of it (at least let it be necessary for the plot).  I can appreciate a well-done crackfic, but nothing that just leaves the reader going, "WTF was that?", PWP, McKay/Sheppard, Sheppard/Weir.

What I can do: I'm fairly flexible and willing to stretch myself a bit.  Pretty much if it's not in my can't-do list, I'm okay with trying it.  Favorite pairings to write - Radek/Rodney, Radek/Elizabeth.  Don't have to write a pairing, though.  Love backstories, for the record, if anyone's looking for that.

What I can't do: Rape, non-con, PWP, McKay/Sheppard, Ronon slashed with anyone, Sheppard/Weir, wildly out of character stuff with no explanation (ie, Sheppard runs around Atlantis naked, proclaiming he's the king of the sea, for no particular reason and no one finds this odd...)

Things I'd like: I'm happy with John/Rodney slash or Gen teamfic/General story. Crossovers with SG:1 are ok, whether it's in Atlantis, on Earth, or both. AU's are ok, provided it doesn't mess with the general plot. (IE, don't make Sheppard something other than an Air Force pilot, Rodney not a scientist, etc.) AU's that deal with alternate timelines in canon are fine, even if they violate the prior statement. :) I'm partial to all the baddies, and especially with team interraction, anything is fine. Humor, offworld mishaps, dangerous space battles - I'm game! As for the McShep pairing, I'm partial to Pining!John. I like happy endings as much as the next girl, but it's not necessary.
Things I wouldn't like: Not a big fan of bdsm, deathfic (of major characters in story) rape/torture. Never got into the Jack/Daniel vibe. Absolutely no MPreg. Not into marriage fics, either, for some odd reason I haven't determined. I also just can't see Rodney being nasty to John on a prolonged basis.
What I can do: I can write John/Rodney slash Lorne/Sheppard slash or Gen teamfic. Not too terribly versed in military jargon and whatnot, but that's what the internet is for. :)
What I can't do: I have no particular desire to write het romance/sex. I can't write the things I don't want, such as bd/sm, rape/torture, etc. in the context of the pairing. Now, if a stray Wraith happens to get captured, all bets are off!!

I'd like a happy ending please with the boys in love & together - I don't mind some angst along the way but with a happy ending (pining!John & oblivious!Rodney is always of the good). I like established relationships or first times & hurt/comfort is always good. Explicit sex isn't necessary but also isn't a problem. ;-) I like Atlantis located stories or Earthside or total AUs. Team stories (with the McKay/Sheppard relationship) are always great too. It doesn't have to be set at Christmas, though it's fine if it is.

Things I wouldn't like: No unhappy endings or death fic please. I don't want the boys to cheat on each other. No hardcore kink. No really out there crack, no mockery/humiliation of the boys (I have a low embarrassment threshold). I'd prefer the boys to be about the age we see them in the show or older (& still happily together!) just not as teenagers, etc. No gender swapping or het & no threesomes or moresomes. This is my first foray here and I'm excited because I love the concept and it's my favorite time of the year!

What I want: First time McShep, something plotty with some team interaction would be nice, something along the lines of the Classic Christmas Story, though it *doesn't* have to be about Christmas per se--but snow, ice, revelations, epiphanies etc are all good.  Let there be banter and humor and/or action/adventure as well.  H/C is fine, even angst and whumpage, as long as it all ends well, because, well Christmas, you know.  So a happy ending is a must.  The story can take place on Earth or Pegasus but this time, I prefer no AU's.  And I'm definitely a slash fan, though other relationships can be mentioned, explored.

Don't like: non-con, mpreg, weddingfic, deathfic, genderswap, excessive sap, partner betrayal, 1st person POV.

What I can do: I write almost exclusively McShep, though I'm willing to be stretched a bit.  Will do explict sex.  H/C, whumpage and happy endings are my bread and butter--I can do dark as long as there is some light at the end of the tunnel.  Mild to moderate kink okay.

Can't do: non-con, mpreg, bsdm (well, not with any believability)

Things I'd like: John/Rodney always works, but I wouldn't say no to ensemble gen, Team!fic, or OT4, or a couple of little-written pairings: Radek/Ronon, Teyla/Elizabeth, Cadman/Keller (I blame fiercelydreamed and shaenie - see here for inspiration on this one), and Zelenka/Lorne. I love minor characters, so include them (in particular Zelenka) and you've got me. AUs are nifty, but not a requirement. I like plot and angst best, but I have a really broad reading range, so everything from gen fluff to genderfuck PWP to mega-downer deathfic would be just fine. I also like learning something new - about a place, a character, a skill set, anything. In the end, all the above are suggestions, you write whatever your heart desires. I'm easy.

Things I wouldn't like: Hardcore kink. A little is okay, and I don't mind bondage at all, but I'm not big on D/s, non-con, or breathplay. Please, for the love of pete, no mpreg.

What I can do: John/Rodney, Ronon/anyone, minor character love (Zelenka, Lorne, Cadman, Chuck), OT4, Team!fic, fluff, angst, humor, romance, action, death, whump, slash, femslash, het, gen, any rating from G to NC17. AUs are love, but I can write canon-compliant too.

What I can't do: Kink, mpreg, Beckett (at all, sorry Carson fans), Weir as a major character or part of a ship, genderfuck, John or Rodney with anybody except each other or Ronon (OT3 okay!).

Things I'd like: Team and OT4 are love. McShep is more than acceptable, and I have to admit a secret fondness for Rodney/Teyla (don’t hit me) and femslash of damn near any pairing. Gen is also way more than okay. I love stories with plot and action and delving into what the characters are thinking and feeling at any given point (dealing with cultural issues is an added bonus). I don’t mind whump and love hurt/comfort as long as there truly is comfort involved. That said, I also like crack!fic and AUs where the Atlantis team is still together somehow, so...

Things I wouldn't like: Not so fond of non-con or BDSM or cheating and have an embarrassment squick. No permanent injuries, death or apocalypse fics, please. Never quite saw Sheppard/Weir together, so would prefer not that pairing. No crossovers with shows I know nothing about, please (which means anything outside of SG-1, NCIS, Fringe, Thoughtcrimes, Highlander, and maybe Buffy).

What I can do: Gen, Team, OT4, McShep, AU, crack, and I’m willing to try my hand at other pairings, but may not make it very explicit.

What I can't do: I suck at writing NC-17, and not in a good way. I also will not write permanent injury or death fics, and just don’t have enough belief in the Sheppard/Weir ship to make it make sense in a fic. Things I'd like: It doesn't have to be gen, but I'd prefer the entire team be in the story. An added bonus would be appearances by Lorne and/or Carson. As for pairings--if they're secondary to the plot, put together whichever characters you'd like. Action, adventure, and mystery make my day, preferably off-world. I love Ancient tech and when the team finds a stray bit of it somewhere...and has to deal with the consequences.

Things I wouldn't like: The team hanging out in Atlantis watching a movie.

What I can do: Gen (preferred), het or m/m; pairings: any combo of the main team (prolly McShep best?). I can write off-world adventuring, crisis in Atlantis, AUs, or Team In Space. I'd also be able to include OR focus on secondary characters, esp. Carson, Lorne, Radek.

What I can't do: Hard-core PWP, non-con, etc. Stories that are only about relationships.

What I want: One word: RODNEY! I want him to save the day and be heroic in his own special Rodney-style. McShep or gen doesn't matter. I want plot, I want team, I don't mind a little sex, and I'm a sucker for well-written non-smarmy H/C. So give my Rodney a place in the spotlight, that's all I ask! You'll get extra cookies if you get him wet/dirty/sweaty in the process...

Don't like: John & Rodney paired with anyone else than each other. Sap, smarm, OOC-ness, character bashing, etc.

Can't do: No Weir-centric stories please. Sorry, Liz-fans, I just don't find her interesting enough to do her justice. Other than that, anything goes. Just keep in mind that I do not belong to the english-speaking world, so don't expect me to do clever things with language.

Things I'd like: Basically, I'm all about the team in the following combinations: John/Rodney, John/Ronon, John/Rodney/Ronon, John/Rodney/Ronon/Teyla, Rodney/Ronon or Rodney/Teyla. I usually prefer stuff tilted more toward relationships; while I don't mind a nice plotty story, I like the relationship to play a big part. And yeah, I'm perfectly fine with nothing but porn; feel free to get kinky if you're comfortable with it, but if not, I'm good with vanilla sex too. :) I like fic that takes place on Atlantis, but then again, aside from Regency romance type things, I've rarely met an AU I didn't like. Basically, aside from wanting the characters to sound/feel like themselves, I'm really quite easy.

Things I wouldn't like: I'd really rather not get any pairings other than the ones I list above unless they're just mentioned in the background. Other than that...um, if you don't turn any of the guys into stereotypical romance heroines, don't bash other characters like Sam or Elizabeth or Keller, and you try to avoid echoing the show's occasional skeevy race and gender issues, I'll be happy.

What I can do: Basically, I could just C&P my "Things I'd Like" answer here. I'll write the following pairings/moresomes: John/Rodney, John/Ronon, John/Rodney/Ronon, John/Rodney/Ronon/Teyla, Rodney/Ronon or Rodney/Teyla. I'm fine with kink and porn, but I can and will write anything from NC-17 on down to PG; basically relationships and how they affect people are really what I do best. *grins* I love inventing alien cultures and playing around with AUs, but I'm happy to keep things on Atlantis as well.

What I can't do: I really don't write much gen and would rather not for this fest. I don't want to try to write any pairings I don't list above, but other than that...well, there's not much else to say that I didn't cover above.
