Things I'd like: Pairing-wise, I would love and adore some decent, plotty McKay/Kavanagh (shut up!) that actually made sense (I would seriously worship at your virtual feet if you managed it), but if that just doesn't work for you then Rodney/Radek or Rodney/Ronon will do. At a push, John/Rodney, but you know that's just the easy option. I could probably handle them being part of threesomes or foursomes, and PWPs are just fine with me. Otherwise, snark, unidentified-alien-artifacts-make-them-have-sex-and/or-fall-in-love, and getting stranded on unknown planets really really push my buttons, but they're not necessary. Ooh, and genderfuckery always works! I don't mind kink, but I'd rather have science. Both would be better, of course.

Things I wouldn't like: Major angst, unless it all ends happily, het as the main pairing, and girlification of male characters - even if they do get turned into girls. John/Ronon, unless Rodney's also involved.

What I can do: Slash. I'd rather not do het or femslash, but I could. Mpreg. Plot, as long as you don't expect anything novel-length. PWP. Kink. AUs. You name it, I'll try it.

What I can't do: I'll give most things a go, but I missed the first half of Season 1, so I'm a tad sketchy on the details there. I wouldn't do well with anything focused on the female characters. Gen is not a strong point of mine. And I won't write anything to do with the Air Force or Marines back on Earth (training, fighting, whatever), because that's just asking for trouble. Or John/Ronon, unless Rodney's involved. Just...no, in so many ways.

Things I'd like:
Pairings I'll like:
Either McKay/Sheppard, McKay/Zelenka or McKay/Beckett. I also like John/Atlantis, where the city is sentient. I enjoy threesomes as well: McKay/Sheppard/Zelenka, McKay/Sheppard/Beckett, McKay/Sheppard/Ronon (adding Teyla in to this last threesome would also be good.) If I get any of these pairing or threesomes, I'll be very happy. Also, further down the page I mention a couple of crossover pairings: if you write them instead of the above pairings, I'll be incredibly joyful as well.

I also like stories that focus more on the emotional aspects of the relationship as opposed to the sexual (while still having the characters act like guys!). Smut is good, but I don't need a whole lot of it, and I'll rather a really hot kiss versus a series of scenes going through different sexual acts. Plotty is also very good, as is good grammar. I like crossovers too, particularly either with the Pretender or Firefly (both Jarod/Rodney and River/Rodney occupy very squeeful places in my heart!).

I *like* angst, so don't feel like since this is for Christmas, it has to be a happy story. In fact, if the flow of the story seems to be going in the direction of an unhappy or (better yet) an ambivalent ending, feel free to write it! A happy ending would be wonderful as well, but it's not required. I also like humor and crackfic, so it doesn't necessarily have to be an angsty story.

Things I wouldn't like:
People being out-of-character. Excessive angst, as opposed to understated angst. Staring up at the ceiling, unable to sleep is okay, committing suicide over someone is not. *g*

Excessive schoompiness. No pet names and no marriage proposals, please! I also don't like kidfic, BDSM and noncon, though dodgycon is all right. I really don't like most kink (I'm terribly vanilla, I'm afraid). Finally, I have an huge embarrassment squick, so no humiliating the characters, please. *g*

What I can do: Gen, any slash pairing that doesn't involve Ford, femslash. I can also write Weir/Zelenka, Lorne/Weir and Teyla/Ronon.

What I can't do: Het, with the exceptions of the pairings listed above. BDSM, noncon, kink. I can write smut, but not for sustained periods of time, so no PWPs.

Pinch hitter?: No, sorry - I'm going to be terribly busy and I usually finish my fics right before the deadline anyway.
