Oh, thank you, this is just the kind of thing I was thinking of with the prompt - just the right amount of angst, and then just the right amount of comfort and reassurance at the end. I love Ronon as the steady, comforting presence, and that he gives John enough calm to be able to talk about what happened.
It didn't go further than that. Ronon seemed to understand that John wasn't ready for more, that anything further would send him into an emotional overload he wouldn't be able to handle right now.
I really like this - it feels much more realistic, and like the two of them, instead of them ending up sleeping together, that there's only so much intense emotion one moment can take, even if some of it would be good.
