Here because I'm reading older sga_santa stories to prepare for this year's. Your title was very intriguing, and I'm so glad I decided to read this story first.
Jeannie is wonderful, and this is such a lovely story about family and love and legacies. Jeannie doing her best to be the parent John and Rodney would have wanted her to be, while keeping them alive with stories. This redeems her for every nasty thing she's ever said in canon, and is the best version of her character I've ever read. Thank you.
