Stargate Atlantis Secret Santa 2012

Your worldbuilding was superb--I liked how the world was both alien and oh-so-familiar at the same time. And what nice people you imagined! Pleasant, but also very real. I liked the idea of quartets, and the notion that the Team is its own quartet, its own family. I liked that John was more willing to be patient waiting for rescue than Rodney, because of his prior experience in the time-dilation Sanctuary. I liked your contrast of the wide beds of the desert world with the narrow beds of Atlantis, and all that symbolized. But I also liked the rescue--the hugs with the Team, the grinning Marines, the happy denizens of Atlantis, all welcoming John & Rodney home! Lovely story, definitely destined to be re-read again and again...
