Oh this is exactly what a Radek/Evan fan would want to read! The everyday life of Atlantis thrumming on around them and her people going about their jobs, and discoveries still being made. *warm fuzzies*
And there was whumpage all around! I loved seeing the flagship team's interactions while injured; Ronon and Teyla all wide-eyed and afraid, pressing close for contact and reassurance. It was a - gonna sound corny here - beautiful thing to witness. And then Rodney at the end. *happy place*
Then you have the main players: Radek and Evan. Business as usual, a scientist and pilot heading out to do what they do best. And then they crash! xD I just loved every second of this! I love whump stories and I doubly love Zelenka and Lorne.
It was a wonderful look into their lives and what happens when something goes wrong. Radek shined in this and I'm really glad that you wrote him so levelheaded while still conveying the sense of his unease and how scared he was. It's so nice to see that solid foundation put into play no matter how crazy and scary things got.
