Sounds like fun (though scary,eek, pressure!), and since I've not done an exchange before in this (for me newish) shiny fandom, I'm excited!

Things I Would Like: Sheppard/McKay slash. Sorry, but I'm a true OTPer, and while I can write and think about other things, I just--really want John/Rodney. :) I suppose my most favorite things are: 1) canon fic where there is believable light-to-medium angst, which is plot and/or character-driven, and then true love prevails and there's an at least partially happy ending; and 2) believable AUs where they meet and fall in love but perhaps have a bit of angst but then true love prevails. (Sense a pattern? *g*) By true love, I don't mean schmoop necessarily; there can definitely be a modicum of darkness, though I also love purely happy fic. By angst, I don't necessarily mean external stuff: relationship stuff is awesome.
I love fic with hot sex, so long as it fits the story and the characters, but certainly I also love fics without sex at all, so long as there's emotion there. I also like fics that explore mild kinks or sexuality, so long as the characters seem more or less like themselves and there's character development of some kind involved.
I'm pretty open as far as the details of fic: I'm happy to read most anything the Universe throws at them -- weird Pegasus stuff or just "regular life." Exploration of Pegasus cultures is awesome, but so are fics set on Earth or anywhere you want. I can't think of any category that I'd rule out -- I really love a wide variety of fic. I do love seeing characters discovering new things about themselves or each other, for whatever reason. Of course I love first-time, a lot, but done well, established relationship can be dynamite. So have fun and write what you like -- I'm sure to love it!
Things I Wouldn't Like: Non-con. Heavy kink. Unhappy ending (But everything doesn't have to be puppies and unicorns and rainbows). Sex between characters where there is a large age imbalance if it involves sexuality between them while age-imbalanced. Fics where it's not the "real" Sheppard and McKay - e.g., where it's an alternate reality character who is the center of the fic, or a robot version of one of them, etc. Gushily romantic guys. I guess overall, I prefer them to be people rather than animals or inanimate objects, though I do enjoy those fics, don't get me wrong, so if something along these lines fits the other parameters, go for it. If it's au, I'd probably prefer it not be set in the distant past (e.g. Regency, Rome). I love aus set in the present, though!
What I Can Do: Sheppard/McKay of any rating, from G to NC-17, ranging from light and semi-fluffy to darker and angsty; in either case with a happy or at worst bittersweet ending. I can do lighter kink, and I can do fluff. And haha, I can do angsty whump and h/c and kidfic, all mixed together or separate. I can do an au, with pretty much any setting someone wants. I can include secondary characters (the ones I'm strongest on are Ronon, Teyla, Keller, Zelenka and Woolsey). I particularly love writing the Team.
I love being challenged (within reason, lol), so if you have an au idea or sci-fi idea or romance idea you'd like me to try, I will try!
Though all I've done in this fandom is Sheppard/McKay slash so far, and I prefer that, I'm sure I can do Sheppard/Ronon as well as most permutations of the Team if Santa wants me to: almost any threesome or foursome made up of Sheppard, McKay, Dex and/or Emmagen. I don't really want to write a threesome if either Sheppard or McKay are left out.
What I Can't Do: Actual non-con of any kind. Rape. I don't want to write an unhappy ending at this time, but I can do bittersweet. Huge age imbalances (unless that part of the fic is non-sexual). Crossovers, and that includes anything from sg-1, as I'm not familiar with the show or characters. John/Teyla without Rodney; Rodney/Teyla without John. Anything delving into romantic/sexual relationships outside the Team: I'm just not particularly interested in writing romances involving Keller, Beckett, Lorne, Zelenka, etc. (Well, Keller/Dex I could do, but I'd rather be slashing. *g*)
Pinch Hitter? Sorry, most likely no, my plate's already overflowing, but I suppose it never hurts to ask?
