Rodney always gets the best lines, I feel, and the best catastrophes. I mean, you wouldn't read a fic where *Teyla* or *Lorne* get their mack on and then accidentally flambe themselves. That would be kind of strange and off-putting. But it's Rodney! Setting fire to himself is hilarious! I dunno, something about him makes me want to put him in uncomfortable situations just to watch him squirm.
