Reminder and Formatting Your Stories

Just a reminder that the stories are due in on the 10th. If you don't think you'll be able to make this date and would like an extension, please let either myself or alyse know as soon as possible.

And yay to those who have already sent their stories in :-)

All the stories are being posted on this comm, so if you could format your fic the way any story being posted on LiveJournal would be - including any italics tags, bold tags and so on that you require.

I find the easiest way to do this is to post privately to your own LJ and make sure the story looks how you would like it to look.

Author's Note:

Obviously, we'll be taking out the author until the reveal, and if people could avoid any blatantly obvious author notes that might give the game away, that'd be great *grin*

I should be able to get mine in on the 10th, but I somehow mistook the due date for the 14th, so I'm a bit rushed. Like I said, it should be done on the 10th, but if not then it will be done by the 14th for sure!

Hey :)

I've got a question - I have three lovely persons beta-ing my story, and two of them beta-ed for me before and they're close friends of mine. They would probably give away my identity. Is it possible that I don't list up their names in the header but you add them as soon as the authors are revealed? I don't want to give the game away, but on the other hand my beta readers deserve some acknowledgement.

I think mine will be ready by the 10th. I'm finishing it up this morning and should be able to send it to my beta this evening. But...I also have to go watch a 4 year old in a Christmas play a couple of hours away so if I don't get finished today I won't be able to send it to my beta until tomorrow. May I get to the 11th?

Story's coming along, but might not be all finished by the end of tomorrow, depending on how it cooperates. I have all Wednesday free to finish up so it'll definitely be done by the 14th, which seems to be your extension-deadline-date? :)

I sent an email, but haven't heard back, so I figured I'd post here too -- I had to abandon my original idea, as it was running way too long, and I wouldn't have been able to finish even by the *end* of the fest.

However, I'm not positive I can finish my new story by tonight -- is tomorrow okay?
