Wow! No fluff, indeed. I very much enjoyed this part (not the least because I could actually remember some of this stuff from biochemistry. I had to suffer through "Molecular Biology of the Gene", too.) The relationship between Carson and LeBlanc is interesting. Timely, too, given Senator Johnson's surgery.
But the aspect that's the most intriguing for me is the ethical aspect. The scene at the end of this part was very compelling.
