I like how John seems to turn into Jack O'Neill as he ages. Cranky, and willing to nap through all the fuss and science. I like that he dyes his hair, too, it goes against the fanon that he's not particularly concerned about his appearance, so it's like we've learned something new about him.

Also the sex was hotttt.
