It means a lot to me that the gate room scene still gets you, even though I know you've read it a couple of times by now.

And even in canon, Kavanagh is too complicated a character to not have a really *good* reason for all his fainting. How could a guy so willing to take others on actually faint from fear? It was obvious that there was a medical reason behind it. ;->
