I really liked this look at John as a caregiver; we don't see that often but I really feel that he'd be like this. I also like the way you captured the difference between having a "safe" friend to flirt with and keeping someone you probably shouldn't get involved with at arm's distance. And I like the way John and Evan think it through and how it's not an easy decision.
