Thank you! I haven't seen Avatar yet, but with all the discussion about, it was definitely in mind while writing this.
To that end, it was important that it was Torran and Dahlia and Teyla who prompted the rebellion - and for Torran the act of 'betrayal' would be all the more difficult because these are people he's grown up with and taught to love. But he'd still see it as necessary - his mother's practicality, and his status of 'other' among the Earth-born Atlanteans (or even the Pegasus-born children from Earth-born parents).
