Yay for an Alive!Mom fic. There are so few of them in this fandom and you did an awesome job building a character we have no canonical info on. The Senator is hilarious and awesome and I want to see many shore leave vacation stories with her and the rest of the family. Also, she needs to meet the rest of the team. I'm pretty sure she and Teyla will get on famously. Oh! One more thing...I especially loved that her main objection to John being in the military is that she *resents* him having to hide who he is. Go mom.
