Lovely, creepy fic! And kudos for the research. As a Swedish person and avid watcher of the televised banquet there is however one thing that really throws me off. There is no buffet table at the Nobel banquet. Never has been. The meal is three courses; entree, main course and dessert(ice cream in some form) The line of waiters coming down the stairs with the serving platters is An Event in itself (watching them and wondering if this will be the year one of them falls or drops something).

Ok, so I'm the kind of person who can tell you aaaalllll about the china pattern used at the banquet too. Feel free to ignore the above.
