Oh, but this is stunning.

Up until the 6th last paragraph, I was yearning for the backstory, wanted a prequel of epic proportions, but with those simple few sentances, you filled all of that need for an explanation. I'm content with the story as it is, and it's beautiful and literally breath taking and lovely.
