I think one of the biggest draws for me when it came to Stargate: Atlantis (I mainlined all five seasons inside a fortnight while I was ill, and regret nothing!) was the real, genuine love I felt that the members of the team had for each other. And it's so much fun that John and Rodney are one of the few pairings I love just as much as friends as I do as boyfriends - they're so married with or without a sexual element that I'd adore them either way <3.
