I love the Pegasus wackiness as incarnate in the fluffy rabbit-thing sweaters, contrasting with the weight of their experiences-- John's many scars. I really liked and believed in John's bittersweet resignation to being Uncle John, too, but thank goodness Rodney talked him out of that. I'm so glad to read about their big dumb happy ending. :D
