Oh god. There are no words do describe how utterly wrecked I am right now. I mean, I read the 'happy ending' at start, but I was still completely and utterly convinced that John and Rodney were dead. You know how you described Jeannie in that last scene? That's me, right now. Utterly wrecked.

Part of me hurts that John and Rodney missed a year of Evelyn, but the rest of me loves those boys so. Damn. Much that they knew what had to be done and went and did and then survived (and oh dear god, that? Is a story that I would dearly love to see. Really) and then came back.

And I love Jeannie so, telling the girls the stories so that they don't forget. And... and... and god, I just love this thing so damn much.
