I really enjoyed this--the buildup of emotions and a relationship within a setting that is so vivid in detail and metaphor. And the badinage . . . I also appreciated the way Rodney veers from hesitancy to full-on sexual heat: I think the phrase "Well, hello" or "Hello, there" is what clinched the intensity of that arousal for me. And then its impact on John! Combined with all the sweetness here--a winner.
