This story is FANTASTIC. I love the world building, the new culture we get to see. I love John and Rodney in this new place, how comfortable they both became, how they left their things there when they left so they'd have to come back. And after they get back, when Rodney is still in his robes trying to hang onto the experience, and how he reacts to John being back in uniform.

And then this line: "Hell no," John says, then amends it to "fuck no."

I love how vehement he is! It's a really awesome story. :D
