Awwww, this is lovely! I love the world-building, the wonderful rites and celebrations on a different planet, how welcoming everyone is (lovely side jab to Earth culture, btw, to point out - SO correctly - that the Lanteans wouldn't have been nearly so nice in return). And I love that John and Rodney find home in each other no matter where they are.

I hope they go back and stay a while, visit their friends from time to time, sleep in that big bed and eat that food and relish what that planet gave them :D
