What a gorgeous little gem of a story. I particularly liked the retro feel of it; it's not just the plot that's set in earlier seasons - you captured something subtle but essential about the John and the Rodney we first saw on the show, and of course, your Rodney history here makes perfect sense, right down to Jeannie saving him (which is now my personal canon, frankly).
