I haven't really enjoyed a fic in this fandom for awhile until this one. Maybe because this made me nostalgic for those early seasons of SGA (when the show was actually about something and had some heart) where the Earth folk were not only changed by their experiences but touched on a physical level by their experiences with the Wraith/Pegasus Galaxy. ie. John and the retrovirus, Rodney and the enzyme.

It made for an interesting "remix" (aside: I'm with Ces, I sure would like to see this dystopian world again that your version of Rodney and John inhabit expanded upon if the mood ever takes you), even if perhaps it was unintentional.
