Aw, that was a great little fic! Thank you to whoever wrote it for me! I love the idea of McKay wishing he knew about archaeology to distract himself. If Daniel had been in the same situation, he probably wouldn't have wanted to have been rescued just yet. I like how you've explored other cultures here; that added a great deal of depth to the story. I also like the whole concept of McKay's reflection being like an archaeological dig.
